(More customer reviews)I wanted a good splitter for my digital cable in which I use telephone, television, & internet, so I needed a quality, well built unit. I took a chance with this Terk, not having used any components from them before. Well, the only thing missing was rubber boots on the threaded "studs" that the coax connectors screw onto. Those boots are difficult to find, and I don't know of any splitters that have them. They're just another little detail "finish" that is extra nice. Although this unit DID have rubber surrounding the center "electrode" hole, which helps with the weather resistance and isn't in the Monster splitters I own. This splitter covers a wide range of 54 ' 806MHz, so way wider than the Monster splitter I did have which only went up to 1 GHz (100 MHz). This Terk splitter also has a ground screw so you can have just a little more security against static or surges messing up your nice picture.
At the time of this writing there was another review of only 1 star. The writer of the review stated his old unit outperformed the new Terk 4-Way, so he put the old splitter back and was happy.
There is no difference between the construction of Terk's 2-Way and 4-Way splitters, and there are numerous 5 star reviews on the 2-Way. It's always possible he got a bad unit. Very rare though since there are no moving parts.

I recommend this Terk 4-Way splitter for almost anywhere you need to have multiple digital, analog, HD, or sat outlets with minimal signal loss.
You will be happy and satisfied, as this is a very easy upgrade for your system.
